Rosa Vivien Ratnawati is the Director-General of Solid Waste, Hazardous Waste, and Hazardous Substances Management at Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry. She presided over COP-4 of the Minamata Convention in Bali in March 2022 and has extensive experience in handling multilateral environmental agreements. As an Indonesian representative, she has contributed to the Basel, Rotterdam, Stockholm, and Minamata Conventions. Notably, she introduced Ministerial Regulation No. 75/2019 on the Waste Reduction Roadmap by Producers and serves as the Secretary of the Marine Litter Handling Coordination Team, established under Presidential Decree No. 83/2018.
