Ronald Jenri Silalahi, S.E., M.E., was born in Anan Hasang on January 11, 1980. He completed his undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Indonesia in 2006 and later pursued a Master’s degree in Economics at Trisakti University, which he obtained in 2015. On February 6, 2025, he was appointed as Director of Supervision of Circulating Goods and Services. Prior to this role, he held several strategic positions, including Director of Consumer Empowerment (2024–2025); Head of the Supervision and Enforcement Team of Export and Import Trade Procedures (Post Audit) at the Directorate of Trade Compliance (2023–2024); Head of the Supervision of Foreign Trade (Export and Import) and Post Border Team at the Directorate of Trade Compliance (2022); Head of the Sub-directorate of Law Enforcement for Domestic Trade Licensing, Foreign Trade, and Other Trade at the Directorate of Trade Compliance (2020–2022); and Head of the Sub-directorate of Law Enforcement for Distribution of Essential and Regulated Goods at the Directorate of Trade Compliance (2019–2020). In recognition of his dedication, he received the Satyalancana Karya Satya X Years Medal from the President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2017.
